Big name signings join 4Poker as the site gears up for launch

Ole Schemion, Artur Martirosian and Francisco Benitez. These are three big names in the poker world with millions of dollars in live and online tournament winnings racked up between them. They’re now patched up, card carrying ambassadors for 4Poker joining Bryn Kenney (who himself is number two on the all-time money list with $57m in live winnings). And all before the site has fully launched. We’ll come back to that in a second.

Francisco, Ole and Artur have been absolute crushers online so their Hendon Mob tournament winnings (see below) only tell one part of a bigger story. And those are pretty big numbers from the Russian, German and Uruguayan anyway.

There’s no doubt these three players love the game and all of them have been mentioned in conversations about who the best players in the world, are at one point or another. Just look at some of the their prodigious streaks.

Benitez had 10 days at EPT Barcelona last year where he finished 1st, 1st, 2nd and 4th for almost $1.1m combined. Artur also had a pretty good time in Catalonia last year with $730,000 taken home, but he’s started this year off flying with $1.5m from two PCA final tables. And Schemion…

Ole Schemion. Just pick a random couple of months anytime over the last decade or so and they will almost certainly be a big score or two. He’s 30 years old and he’s already had 8 years where he’s recorded more than a million in live tournament winnings. Let that sink in.

Let’s not forget Bryn Kenney, the main man of 4Poker who these three are joining. He has eight million-dollar-plus tournament scores to his name (including a seven-figure $20m win) and 63 recorded results of $100,000+.

Francisco got a little carried away and started shouting about 4Poker on Instagram the second his contract had been signed. You’ve got to love the passion.

He told: “I feel very happy to join 4Pro. I’m really motivated to help the site grow. The software is very good, I trust the people who are working on the site - who have a lot of experience in
everything related to poker – and I believe 4Poker will undoubtedly grow quickly. The sooner you become familiar with the site the better!”

So when is 4Poker going live?

4Poker has been allowing registrations to our invitation-only beta but we will be opening the doors properly to sign up over the next couple of weeks. We then look forward to our first tournaments just a few weeks after that! Make sure you benefit from being the first 4000 registered to be entered into our GO4PRO Vegas Main Event Freeroll and enjoy 50% rakeback for the first 4 months. Keep your eyes on the 4Poker socials: 4Poker Twitter and 4Poker Instagram

Who can play?

4Poker has a global gaming licence so if you live in a country that is locally licensed, like the UK, France or Spain, then you won’t be able to download or play (for now). We do hope you’ll follow along though as the intention is to bring 4Poker’s low rake, high reward to as many players as possible.

So what is 4Poker? We’re a poker-first, player-first poker site that aims to be by players, for players, for poker. This 4Poker manifesto sums up what we stand for and what we’re looking to bring the playing community.
