What Do We Charge?
We have set up our site as a low rake, high reward, and we’re confident that our cash game rake and tournament fees are extremely competitive. We have a ‘No Flop, No Drop’ policy that means we don’t take any rake to hands that don’t make the flop.
Tournaments fees
A portion of every tournament buy-in will be retained as a fee. The fee is typically about 9% of the total buy-in but decreases proportionally as the buy-in increases.
Cash Games
We collect a fee (rake) from every cash game pot which makes it to the Flop betting round (i.e. when the first community cards are spread). Hands that don’t make it past pre-flop action will not be raked. This is our ‘No Flop, No Drop’ policy.
We use the ‘weighted contributed’ method of calculating rake. The amount raked from any given hand is determined by four factors:
1. No Flop, No Drop: In order to be raked, the hand must progress to at least the Flop betting round (i.e. ‘No Flop, No Drop’ rule).
2. The rake percentage: Each stake level has an associated rake percentage (see below). This is the relative portion of the pot which will be retained by us as a fee.
3. The rake cap: Each stake level has an associated rake cap. While the rake percentage dictates the percentage of the pot that will be raked, the cap governs the maximum amount that will be raked in absolute terms..
4. The number of players dealt into the hand: Fewer players generally means a lower rake cap, while more players generally means a higher rake cap.
The table below shows the rake % and maximum rake contribution based on the number of participants in a cash game at a given level.
