Take A Seat

Cash games, also known as ring games, are poker at its purest. There’s no set start or finish time and players can come or and go from the table as they please. Every pot has actual money at stake with each chip having a direct cash value, unlike tournaments where your end position is what dictates your payout.

No Limit Texas Hold’em is the our game of choice, and you’ll find it available at a variety of stake levels in the Cash Game portion of the lobby. You have two ways to win any given hand: by either having the best hand at showdown on the river or by making everyone else fold whether you have the best hand or not. We’re proud to offer a low rake, high reward online poker environment. We apply the ‘weighted contributed’ method of rake in cash games. This means that every player who puts money in the pot will receive credit for their contribution in direct proportion to that contribution.

Rake

You can see the full pricing here, but here’s an example of how rake in a cash game pot works. Imagine a $1/$2 No Limit Hold’em cash game. Six players have been dealt into a hand which ends up with a $100 pot from which $5 rake has been taken.

Based on the following contributions into the pot:

  • Player 1: paid small blind $1
  • Player 2: paid big blind $2
  • Player 3: folded pre-flop
  • Player 4: folded pre-flop
  • Player 5: put a total of $48.50 into the pot
  • Player 6: put a total of$48.50 into the pot

The following amount of rake will be attributed to each player:

  • Player 1 will be considered to have paid $0.05 rake (1% of the $5 rake, based on the $1 contribution to a $100 pot)
  • Player 2 will be considered to have paid $0.10 rake (2% of the $5 rake, based on the $2 contribution to a $100 pot)
  • Players 3 & 4 will be considered to have $0 rake
  • Players 5 & 6 will be considered to have paid $2.42 in rake (49% each of the $5 rake, based on their $48.50 contribution to a $100 pot)
